**COLD WEATHER & LOW LIGHT SERVICE**
To our valued customers, we hope you are having a wonderful start to the holiday season! While the holidays bring joy, they also bring potential colder temperatures and fewer hours of daylight. That is why we thought this would be a good time to review service procedures for the coming months. While we run service all year, there are circumstances in which mother nature just won’t let us work. Here are the guidelines for operation as a reference. COLD WEATHER;
** WE DO NOT OPERATE IN TEMPERATURES BELOW 30°. If the forecast shows a high temperature of 30°F or below 24 hours prior to service, cleanings will be canceled for the upcoming day. **
All affected customers will be notified by email that the service has been canceled. Along with a new potential service date (weather permitting).
* Cancellation notices are planned to go out the day prior to service so that you can bring your cans in on trash day, if not getting cleaned.
* If the decision to cancel service is made after 10 am, You may still receive a normal service reminder prior to the cancellation notice.
* Cleanings will not be rescheduled more than one week prior to or after the original service date. This is to ensure the most regular service possible moving into the spring.
* If temperatures or routing are not conducive for service within that 3-week time span, service will resume on the next regularly scheduled date. SNOW* We do operate in light to mild snowfall, but some conditions may result in delays or cancellation of service for the remainder of the day. You will be contacted if cleaning is canceled. LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS
**WE WORK IN THE DARK***
Our trucks are equipped to provide a safe and efficient workspace in low light conditions. Along with the truck’s exterior lighting, technicians wear headlamps to ensure a high level of quality control.
* Cleanings run from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
* While our goal is to complete all cleanings before sundown, this is not always possible.
* You will be notified by phone and/or email if service will not be completed for any reason.
* Please keep can(s) visible from the street for cleaning if not notified of a cancellation. As always, can(s) will be brought up to the top of the drive after cleaning is complete.
**FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK FOR SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS**
Thank you for taking the time to review these guidelines. They have been created to ensure the safety of our staff and equipment in the winter months. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office at (844) 726-2226 or email us at info@powerbiscleaning.com. WE WISH YOU A HAPPY AND HEALTHY HOLIDAY SEASON!!
Highest Regards,
Power Bins Cleaning LLC
All trash bans must be visible from the street. While we prefer the cans to be left at the curb, we understand if you must bring them up to the house for any reason. As long as they are accessible and visible from the street our technicians will place them back where they found them after cleaning.
Please leave all cans to be cleaned out! If you have cans that are not scheduled to be cleaned, put them away. You will be charged for the number of cans you signed up for even if one or more are not out at the time of service. Thank you in advance! ○ We know this change may be an inconvenience at first, but it is necessary to provide timely service for all customers. This change was made due to inconsistent or late trash/recycling pickup times throughout different areas.
This resulted in our customers receiving late service or due to low light conditions in the evenings, they had to be rescheduled. This change ensures cleanings to be completed on the scheduled day of service by sundown and for most customers before 5pm. Cleaning days will still run from sunup to sundown. Also, we realize that this change will conflict with some customers' towns or HOA rules. We are communicating with all cities we service to make them aware of the change and that we require the cans to be out one day after trash pickup.
Most cities allow cans to be out until 6pm the following day. We will also be making efforts to contact all known HOAs to make them aware.
If you have concerns, we would be more than happy to contact any HOA or village on your behalf, if provided with the correct contact person’s information. We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience through this transitional period to our valued customers,
Highest Regards,
Power Bins Cleaning LLC
